Corinthian Physical Therapy: Specialists in Manual Orthopedic Therapy

Corinthian Physical Therapy was established in 1992 as one of the first one on one, hourly manual therapy private practices in New York City.

After many years of experience treating orthopedic patients, including supervisory positions at The Hospital for Special Surgery, Pam Schwarzer, the owner and founder of Corinthian Physical Therapy decided to open up a different kind of practice.

After her own experiences with the treatment of her debilitating low back pain caused by years of long distance running, Pam realized that proper treatment requires time spent with the patient and a high degree of varied skills to approach the patient’s needs. Pam found that the combination of her physical therapy background, augmented by her studies at the renowned osteopathic program at Michigan State University, practiced in a personalized home-like environment resulted in more dramatic and rapid “whole body” improvements for her patients.

At Corinthian Physical Therapy we have a unique team of highly experienced manual therapists with a passion for learning and the utmost dedication to their patients.

When appropriate they also work collaboratively with our on site yoga and Pilates trainers to provide a total wellness program.
